German Police Dogs to Wear Shoes

Spotted: These two dogs appear to be wearing hand-knitted sweaters. Is this crochet? Macrame? The floral pattern on the first dog is great - very 60's hippie, like it came off the set of "The Brady Bunch." That golden German shephard-y dog is also just too cute for words.

Mommy's Single!

Spotted: My first sweater with a message! "Mommy" was indeed single, dressed in a fantastic dramatic coat and shades, and regaled me with tales of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton partying in a yacht off Ireland in the 70's. I love this dog.

Spotted: Only a French Bulldog could class it up like this. Stunning houndstooth. And just look at the way the point of his coat lapels echoes the shape of his ears. . . sacre bleu!

Spotted: Fantastic hunter-orange puffer coat. Love the contrasting hoodie! I've seen this outfit on more than a few twenty-something guys lately.

Spotted: "Puppy" here is wearing a snappy pink puffer coat with a white fur-trimmed hood. As her owner explained, I caught Puppy on her way to the groomer's.

Spotted: I don't know how this dog can see anything, but I'm guessing he's happy to be sporting this crazy coat-jumpsuit.

Jogging Gear

Spotted: A jogger and his dog, both decked out in athletic gear. Hard to see, but this little dog is wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt to protect him from the chilly weather. Feel the burn, little buddy.

I Match My Sweater

Spotted: A dog and sweater perfect match. Just look at the white and tan patches on both the dog and sweater. Doggie's black nose matching the sweater's black trim. I am beside myself.

Spotted: Oh. My. God. One dog wearing shoes would be enough. But TWO dogs? Wearing IDENTICAL SWEATERS AND SHOES?

Spotted: This little fellow is all dolled up for Mardi Grad in his finest Argyle sweater and matching purple beads. Party hard, little guy - party hard.

Hang in there, Baby!

Spotted: This is the saddest dog I have ever seen, considering he is wearing an awesome red hunter's plaid jacket - which I have in scarf form. Also, red plaid? a big Williamsburg trend this season. Way to stay abreast of the hipster trends, bulldog! But seriously, if I ever see this dog wearing skinny jeans, I really just don't know how I will deal.
